About Simone Soro

Simone Soro is a multifaceted violinist and composer known for his ability to blend classical, jazz, tango, and improvisational music into a unique and personal sound. Driven by curiosity and a deep desire to find his own voice, Soro has collaborated with renowned artists such as Fabio Furia, Stefano Guzzetti, Claudia Aru, Varijashree Venugopal, Pramath Kiran, and Praveen Rao. His journey has taken him from regional orchestras to international stages, performing in China, Japan, India, and across Europe.

In 2018, Soro released his debut solo album, “Me in Loop,” a sensory project for violin and loop station that explores the diverse emotional landscapes of its creator. The album was well-received and showcased at major festivals in Sardinia, including “Isole Che Parlano,” “Musica sulle Bocche,” “Ai confini tra Sardegna e Jazz,” and “In Progress One.”

Soro’s music transcends traditional genres, offering a blend of classical roots, jazz influences, and innovative improvisations. His work is characterized by a profound introspection that leads to universal themes, inviting listeners to embark on an emotional journey through layered and evocative compositions.

Following the success of “Me in Loop,” Soro is set to release his new album, “Ispiràle,” which continues to explore his signature style. “Ispiràle” promises to be an immersive experience, blending intricate violin loops with introspective themes, reflecting Soro’s continuous evolution as an artist.
