Lotus

Lotus is the second single by Carlos Maya of the incredible project recorded at the National Museum of Colombia with a Steinway piano model D.

Lotus is a flower with a deep symbolism; it depicts the development and resurrection of enormous splendor and purity from the depths of darkness. This idea of resurrecting with light and beauty after a journey in the dark affects and inspires Carlos’ composition.
