Inspired by Wendell Berry’s The Peace of Wild Things, the opening piece looks towards nature and the stillness of an endless horizon. Guitar leads the composition, with synthesiser, bass and drums creating a spacious background around its melodic lines. Calm and gently longing, it introduces the atmosphere that will continue through the eight pieces of the album.
