El Regreso

El Regreso is the third single by Carlos Maya of the incredible project recorded at the National Museum of Colombia with a Steinway piano model D.

Sometimes I don’t have a plan at all when I’m composing, I just started to improvise here and there. But when I find an idea that works I work with it to a final result, and the name comes after, just when listening to the final result. This piece resembles the idea of an incredible Return to a place or time when we were truly happy, everybody has a place like that, in which we would love to stay longer. this is what El Regreso is.
