Release Info:

A magical EP by Antonio Arcieri.

“Emphasis” is based on a real-life experiment. In the last few years, I’ve made it a point to capture every one of my improvisational shows. I was able to extract the melodies and harmonies that made the audience more emotionally connected by listening to the recordings again. Emphasis is a work that results from the audience’s unintentional interaction with the artist.

Be quiet. It’s a lullaby” is a song inspired by many moments of lightness I experienced during concerts when I was one with the instrument, the environment, and the audience. This music is made up of a compilation of these moments that have been layered on top of each other.

Dancing Lights is a song that has captivated audiences who have listened to it at all stages of its creation in performances. People seemed to be relaxed by its repeating structure and little acoustic interferences, which I detected.
Dark Crystal Palace is a song that was born out of necessity. It was necessary to study melody, distortion, and their blend in depth.
After tripping on a mountain path, I wrote Slow Downhill. Maybe I would have appreciated it more if I could have slowed down in that moment.

Emphasis comes from a live experiment. In the last few years, I have decided to record every one of my concerts focused on improvisation. Listening to the recordings again I was able to extract the melodies and harmonies that made the spectators more emotionally involved. Emphasis is a work that arises from the involuntary participation of the spectators with the artist. "Be quiet. It's a lullaby" is a song that comes from various moments of lightness I had during concerts when you are one with the instrument, the place that surrounds you and the audience. The collection of these moments, overlapped on each other, has composed this track.

Dancing Lights is a song that has greatly involved the audience who listened to it during all the moments of its construction in concerts. I noticed that people let themselves be lulled by its repetitive structure and the slight sonic interferences. Dark Crystal Palace is a song that basically comes from a need. The need was to study in deep the thing of melody, distortion and their mix. Slow Downhill is a song born after I tripped on Mountain path. I thought if I could have slowed down that instant, maybe I would have liked it.
