Roughly 14 years ago we adopted a young rescue dog who accepted the name “Mojo.” She is a mutt, but appears to be a mix of Rat Terrier and Barge, with the beagle tendencies being very dominant. Beagle owners will know that means her life is ruled by her nose and her stomach. Mojo loves to be outside and is a truly all weather dog who loves to walk, by which I mean lead one of her human pack on an excursion. She takes at least two lengthy walks a day. I enjoy accompanying her on walks in the woods. It was on one of those walks that this tune was conceived. I tried to capture sonically the stop and go meandering of her movements on the excursions we have made on and off many a wooded trail one the years. The superb playing of violinist Valente Štante captures the essence of these walks perfectly.
